Torun Fredberg is a passionate violinist and dedicated violin teacher from Sweden. She has performed all over Europe as a classical-and early music violinist, as well as a pop musician, touring with bands and DJs with electric violin. If your ambition is to audition for the conservatory, or if you simply want to be able to play ‘Happy Birthday’ for your friends and family, Torun can give you the tools to get there. Torun got her formal music education at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm (bachelor in classical music performance and masters degree in early music performance) and Gothenburg University (masters degree in symphonic orchestra performance). Mariya works as a freelance musician in Luxembourg and Germany and offers private violin lessons in Luxembourg (Bonnevoie). She is fluent in English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish, and speaks conversational German (A2). She enjoys working with students of all ages and levels—from complete beginners to advanced players. Her teaching combines strong technical foundations with musical expression, always adapting to the individual needs and goals of each student. Mariya aims to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students can grow with confidence and joy.
